Schools and PTSAs

SAT and ACT Practice Tests

Sanderson Test Prep offers practice tests for both SAT and ACT. We offer full-length practice tests for free. Following the tests, students will receive a detailed score report within 3 days. We also send an analysis of overall student performance to the desired school administration so that data can be used to find the best opportunity to improve scores.

Most PTSAs will utilize this service as a fundraiser by charging students a $10 or $20 fee to take the test. With a full testing schedule of 1 SAT and 1 ACT in the fall and one of each in the spring, most schools are able to raise $2000 - $8000 per year through this program.

SAT and ACT Boot Camps

SAT and ACT Boot Camps are a popular offering to give students an opportunity to get an introduction to the content and strategy needed for SATs and ACTs. Each boot camp is offered as a 3 hour review broken up into 40 minutes of test structure and strategy, 40 minutes of grammar, 40 minutes of reading comprehension, and 40 minutes of math.

For PTSAs, the fundraising potential here is also significant. Students pay $100 to attend the event which includes a welcome bag of supplies and a corresponding Sanderson Test Prep SAT or ACT book. The PTSA receives anywhere from 30 - 50% of the funds as a donation depending on the number of students enrolled.

Professional Development

Oftentimes, teachers are not fully aware of the type of material that is covered on SSAT, ISEE, PSAT, SAT, or ACT. Sanderson Test Prep offers professional development and teacher training programs to help teachers understand the specifics of each standardized test and how they can adapt their instruction to better prepare their students.

In a typical training session, we cover average passage length and timing in the reading section, the "Big 5" grammar topics, and number of questions on each math topic. A typical 1.5 hour training session costs $250, but this is a free service for any of our partner schools.
